To support the launch of the Pokémon Go "Travel" initiative we worked with W+K London to create a campaign site focused on establishing the overall concept. During a tour, players work together globally with a number of lucky participants on the ground as they discover an exciting destination. Working together in app and on social channels the aim of the tour is to collect and unlock rewards and rare Pokémon characters as they visit new and exciting places.

The role of the site is to support a live tour as well as build excitement for new and upcoming tours.

To bring interest and playfulness we created a new navigation structure more akin to an app experience. Visitors on the mobile site can swipe left and right to discover content related to a tour or up and down to find new sections. This challenging navigation pattern was successfully engineered within a react framework.
